In Situ Gas/Liquid Phase TEM Experiments

Many reactions in real-life occur in the gaseous state, including materials nucleation and growth, interfacial interaction, energy conversion, and catalytic reactions. Therefore, for the generation and manipulation of the desired materials and devices, the reaction mechanism study at the gas phase is essential. Thanks to the recent development of in situ TEM techniques, now real-time observation of materials reaction at the atomic scale in the gas phase can be possible.
